Footprints
A tetrapod trackway has been discovered in Devonian sediments of
Valentia Island, south-west Ireland. It is the first discovery of
its kind in Europe.
Footprints ( more than 150 of them ) were used to calculate the
tetrapods dimensions, its strides etc. as can be seen from the
diagram. The Tetrapod came ashore at Dohilla between 350 and 370
million years ago.
